The Purple Stained Glass Studio (named after my first very purple studio in the garden of my old house)
is in the East Midlands, on the outskirts of Loughborough (not far from Leicester) in a historic farm complex at Dishley Grange.
It’s a lovely place where the ducks demand to be fed in the spring.
I work with Claire Williamson Glassworks and together we will take anything glass like that the world throws at us.
I’ve always had a fascination with glass and developed my abilities using the still very traditional techniques required to create beautiful, individually designed pieces of artwork.
I revel in anything from developing original contemporary designs to methodically restoring church windows. It’s a smashing career!
Living on a narrowboat, I naturally found myself combining my love of glass and my love of the waterways to expand my focus.
